16234 Reduction chamber
- to reduce the pressure of a fluid sample intended for conductivity and other parameter measurements
- The reduction chamber consists of an inlet and an outlet section connected by an overmolding nut. The inlet is marked with an arrow indicating the direction of flow of the sample. In the inlet, the sample is free of mechanical impurities. The contamination of the reduction chamber with impurities can be reduced by mounting a type 987 sump in front of the reduction chamber. An orifice column is inserted in the outlet section. As the sample flows through the orifice plates, its pressure is reduced. The design of the chamber ensures that the number of orifices can be adjusted to achieve the required sample flow through the sensor and additional elements.
- The reduction chamber is not a specified product within the meaning of Act No 22/1997 Coll.
